Anyone running the blouch evo3 big 16g? I was thinking about going with a 20g, but for the numbers that I'm going for... well this is a more affordable solution. Huge TM and a 20G! I have an 18G and meth and always want more, best part is when you swap the block you already have a starter turbo.
Hmmm..food for thought. I am basically looking to get around the 350hp range, with decent spool (my t3/t04e on the sr spooled at around 4-4.5k, way too late for anything but a straight line).
My 350 was not conservative just like yours isn't I don't drive balls to the wall all the time. A lot of my commute is cruising.
So what does 350 feel like in the subarus? Average 1/4 et? Any comparison to other off the showroom floor cars? I remember that 346 in my 240 pretty much smoked everything else and should have run low 12s, maybe high 11s with a perfect run(she only had two runs down the track so far). With the subaru being heavier, what numbers have you guys seen? Also, would a 350hp setup dialed back to 315-330 remain conservative for everyday driving. I commute from decatur to winder everyday so... I appreciate any input!
An 18g or that Blouch EvoIII 16g (which is pretty much 18g) with FMIC on meth injection on a TS tune will suit you just fine.

I put my project car on hold for a moment to build up the wrx. Stock wrx=slow as shit. My 240 was my daily with ~350 to the ground. I need more out of the the wrx for every day, but unfortunately it will always be my slow car. All of my money is getting sunk into the 240 as I am transforming it into a track monster. When I do hit the track, it will be in the s13, not the subaru:wtc:. Besides, if I turn this into another "project", my wife will kill me.
For now just do the stage 2 upgrades and supporting mods. You can get there for a pretty low price. Substantial boost.
start by acquiring an AP, either version 1 or version 2, doesn't matter for you. That's going to be the base of all of your mods.

I'm wating for my settlement check to come through in the next couple of days. I picked up a dp already, just got coilovers, new tires and gte love on the alignment. Once the check comes I'm ordering the APv2, cbe, up, and drop in filter. I'm also going to upgrade the ebcs. That should keep me busy for a minute, while I work on sourcing the turbo, tmic, and injectors. I figure by my bday (27th of this month) i should be fully upgraded on stage 2, then finishing the turbo upgrade by christmas. I've sold some of my excess 240 stuff so I just happened to come across the turbo money earlier than expected.
Yeah, I was also wondering about that, just haven't seen one available...although I admit I wasn't really looking at those turbos. I was looking at 20g, but they all are setup or modified for ewg. I think I may go this route based on the cost effectiveness alone.
You know I have an excellent up pipe that is flanged for EWG from TurboXS Brand new and never installed for CHEAP.
