is there a "how-to" on painting the white strip of 04-05 tail lights yellow?
Is there a way to do it without paint?

oh well obviously youd have to separate the housing. that requires baking it in an oven. i would assume following the same procedures as the headlight could work. never taken apart a tailight so dont quote me on that

You can't just bake it like you do with the headlights. The taillight plastic is much softer and will deform/melt in the oven, you'll have to cut it open with a dremel and glue it back together. As an alternative, you can just get some yellow overlays or use the glass tint spray paint.

i think this is what face did on his '08 tailights, and they turned out ok. just remove the tailights and mask off what you dont want yellow with some painters tape. i dont see why that wouldnt work fine

The tails are much harder to do thanks to that annoying circle in the middle.

PM Alex/10thSTJDM. They used to do it on the side.
