well heres a pic of how how the car sits right now. loooong delay my fault (economy ftl but thats another thread) been busy powdercoating eveything and re-installing parts. all the parts will be back on the car this week, just waiting on one more pipe. Mike will be flashing me a map that will make it mobile until i can afford some sort of EM. Im planning on driving it up to the Halloween car show that my company is having on the 31st on tara blvd (southside yo!) 12pm-6pm if anyone wants to come out n hang/chat. pm me if you are interested in attending, its free to attend but you have to pay if you want to win a trophy lol. I will be running the SPL contest.
Looking super clean man! FYI you may want to get that stainless PS line off the pipe....it will rub a hole in it eventually.
thanks man. it actually did when it was originally installed before the powder coating. its just kinda sittin there for now but it will be relocated.
intake is 4" and maf housing is 31/2".. from what mike said, we had maxed out the 3" so we went with the 31/2"
sargent power made it. heres a pic..keep in mind its just hanging there for now. it will be up a lil higher before the bumper goes back on.
Man that thing looks even better not that you have it all powder coated. I will be down there this weekend hopefully.
LOL! Sorry mike. I just finished installing all the piping. All that's left is putting on the bumper and double checking everything. I'll leave that until tomorrow.
I worked my ass off on those 2 brackets, where the hell are the pics of them installed? Do you know how long it took to prep and coat those?
Actually yes, but only after we were done at midnight when he needed to move it and did not want to piss of the neighbors, lol.
190BHP never looked so good, all shiny and shit. Don't worry I won't mention the V-6 Mustang running you down though.
I got my ap2 yesterday. (thanks Matt!) heading up to Sargents tomorrow with Reel to start getting the car dialed in. Since our team won the scavenger hunt, looks like my car will be getting the final tune on the Topspeed dyno. Thanks Doug for the awesome prize! That was a blast!
lol sorry. I'm about to hit up the gym but ill post the pic up when I get home. mike did some tuning today and I believe got it close enough to put on the dyno and finish up. no meth or hardly any timing yet but it feels great!. I believe its boosting around 19-20psi right now. I just did the ap street dyno and it said 411whp 423tq @ 5500rpm (couldnt run out the gear on the street) but who knows how accurate that is lol
finally here is a pic of the completed turbo kit. i have a few little things yet to install like some brackets to hold the fuel lines and relocating a couple things etc..
