Sup guys, I got this Caprice Classic about 2 months ago. It belonged to my Aunt who died about a year ago. It was sitting for about 2-3 years. The car has 68,000 original miles. It was hardly driven. Driving to church, and the grocery store mainly consisted of this car's life. Interior is super clean as well. It has a 305 v8 5.0L That is Untouched! We did some basic maintenance, changed the fluids, Replaced the battery, Replace Rotor button, cap, Spark plugs, and Wires. The car was giving me some start up issues, and was flooding. Upon inspection the Carb. It seemed it was crapping out. We decided to put on an Edelbrock Performer on there. And put on an intake element. Here are a few pictures of todays Install. She is running a hell of a lot better. Car was so slugish before. She feels like a new ride! Stay tuned for more Donkness... ::keke:
Lol. Nice! Strip it, cage it, new suspension/wheels/tires, then raise hell on the track. Or throw some airbags on it and get some new paint and wheels.
Torque converter, valve body and gears in the rear, definitely wheels and tires. Those are great cars, hard to find in that shape, at least without 22's or > and bullet holes!
Alright guys, First before everyone gets all judgmental putting wheels on the caprice. I did it because I don't care. And I think its hilarious. I am in no way targeted to one genre or another. I've had Procharged Z06's, Eagle talons, Toyota Sequioas, Lexus ES300s, to 450+hp Subaru STi's. I don't discriminate with my cars. . . . . . . . . So, I put a brand new set of 24inch wheels. I think they look pretty good relatively speaking.
"I am in no way targeted to one genre or another." Your going to be targeted for a car jacking..........................LOL "Dey gona jack you up an take yo ca"
I've always wondered what people drive cars like that... and now I know. And I can totally respect you for doing what YOU like instead of what 99.99999% of other people like.
that looks good! I'd roll in that thing. My first car was my family car, an 85 Olds Delta 88 in silver. I STILL miss that car. It was a rolling couch. Good luck with the project
Looks good Tray! Get the windows tinted with that chrome tint too!! I'd drive it! Hell you could probably sell it for bank near the airport. lol
Thanks guys, Ya know its all in good fun really. We just threw in for the hell of it a Dual Flip out TV, K9 Alarm system, 2 Rock Fosgate 12inch subwoofers, and box I had laying around. Its pounding now. hahaha
Gull wing must be next http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chev...emQQimsxZ20091030?IMSfp=TL0910301810002r29930
Nice man. I really want one of those. My Grandad had one when I was a kid; and that particular car is hella nostalgia for me. In stock form I think it's super classy and like riding around in your living room. If I had one today I'd probably treat it to something similar, as you did, just for fun. Awesome man.
