Mine kept backing itself out on and off for a few months. I kept tightening it when it got loose until the head was basically stripped - then I got a new one and no worries since. A bolt would be cheaper tho.
I'm looking for a write up on how to take it out. Any benifit to getting a new/used one as opposed to juts removing it completly?
and it is catless up already? If so, I used a cut down oil drain plug with a few copper washers. Mine never came out the 2+ years I had installed in my car.
the previous owner of my car had a bolt in, and when it came out it fried my pcm harness, I fixed the harness and put a bolt in it, with a tac for good measure
