I will be needing tires in the next 6 months or so. I can't imagine many people have winter tires here. What do you summer tire users do in the winter? I know the no snow thing isn't a huge deal but I thought they start to go south when it gets below 35 deg. or so.

we really don't have much of a need for anything but summer/all season tires.

When it gets really cold, just be careful and don't push too hard and you will be fine on summer tires.

Or practice your low-traction skills in a safe area :p

I took my car on a ski trip last winter. We got almost a foot of snow that weekend and I had the WRX with summer tires and it handled it like a champ. Just don't go fast or put it in neutral.

They just get a bit slippery'er than usual when things get cold. Really not that big a deal as it's not usually dangerous, just remember you won't have the same amounts of grip as when it's nice and warm.
