Niiice. It's looking really good. Are you not gonna get a new CF hood?

  11. AtlxPat

    AtlxPat Active Member

nah i dont think so, i will be looking to get a painted scoopless hood if i get a FMIC

Are the inserts next to the lights normally black or painted. Your grill looks different from the front, I really like what you have done so far.

  13. superdoughboy4

    superdoughboy4 Active Member

Ahh. I see. You don't like having a top mount with the hood scoop?

  14. AtlxPat

    AtlxPat Active Member

yea i got them painted, i have 2 sets of grilles, 1 painted flat black and the other CGM, i'm gonna cut up the flat black ones and insert mesh grilles

nah i just dont like the attention sometimes of the hood scoop. If i get a front mount, i have no use for the scoop

I always thought the hood scoop on WRXs gave it character.
Normally, I would hate the look of any car with a hood scoop, but the Impreza/WRX is a completely different story.

I like the way you did your front grill. And the trunk lid is pretty nice too!

Sweet, cannot wait to see the flaps! You should consider adding the STi roof vane back there.

  21. Alex

    Alex Community Founder Staff Member

Maybe you should ask the body how it feels about you drilling it?
