Mountian Run 12/27

I know it's late notice but I plan on going on a mountain run with some friends the Sunday after Christmas.
We will probably head up there around 10am and will be driving the 129/180/60 loop.

hahaha the actually might be a nissan frontier attending.
There will be some people going fast, and some people having fun. so far it looks like there will be me, an 05 sti, a shitty jetta, a stock automatic e30, a ballin e30 and who knows what else.

Bring whatever car you want, it's not a race, it's about having fun!

 

I'd like to make a run but I'm out of town 24th-29th. I can do it after I come back.

Was that you!?!? I was at BP putting air in my tires and a PT rolls out and revs at us, resulting in a BOV. I was like :eek3:.

 

Yup that's the route it take! I usually go up Wolf Pen Gap then turn around at the BBQ joint cause down hill is a lot more fun.

there were ~8 with us. 6 cars i think. we got some excellent footage

Yea 4touge had a great run. Only got stuck in traffic once and we were able to turn around and do it again flawlessly. Im on my way now to play with the footage, look for vids of a flame shootin evo soon.

I had two 10 anniversary miata's two sti's a jetta, a gti, a outback sport, and myself. I'm thinking the next run I plan will be a night run.

 

Careful about the 4 legged creatures with antlers up there around this time of year. Those damn things are sure to ruin your evening.

 

Are they especially prevalent this time of year? I did a lot of night runs over the summer and always saw a bunch of them, not sure if I want to see even more...

 

Ya summer time isnt bad for them, but winter\spring months are worse. I live about 30 mins south of dalonegha, and those thing are everywhere this time of year. They seem to be bigger ones wandering around as well.
