Does anyone have an EJ (preferably fully-dressed) up on a stand and a compatible transmission that I can measure? I'm building an engine/transmission mount for a swap into my 914 and need to know things like engine length, distance from mount holes to bellhousing interface, distance from bellhousing the trans mount location, etc, etc.

It won't take long, and you'll get to see me use my super-ghetto 4' "calipers" :)

I'll have one on a stand by the weekend. More than likely tomorrow, located in Kennesaw

I think we have one still as well. Also in Kennesaw.

Awesome! I'll send PMs as the weekend nears. Do you guys have transmissions around, too?

    You need a 5 speed or a 6?

    I am gonna guess 5mt since it is a 1200 lb 914...

So Dana does that mean my heads are coming back soon?

hopefully by the weekend! The weather prevented us from pushing my car around the block and into the garage last weekend

Well, I'm most interested in the measurements of the mounts, so either a 5spd or a 6spd will work, since they're interchangeable. Hell, even an old FWD trans will work.
