    How so? I can't plate it with a bill of sale? Usually they also require a minimum of a signed title as well. As far as I know.

    Well, that's the easy part.

    The hard part is I have read insurance doesn't cover you if your name isn't on the title. I have insurance on the car regardless so when I finally get the title we are good.

    I could always risk it and pray no accidents but - scary!

    you're covered for 30 days on a vehicle purchase.

    also, how do you think people drive cars they just bought used? you don't get the title instantly from the state. it takes a few weeks
