Just wanted to post these pics (thanks WRXCOUPE) of the engine that is going into my Bugeye RS "WRX swap". Brandon at AllPro in Alpharetta has been putting some hours to make this a bad a$$ ride for me. MAJOR PROPS TO ALLPRO!!!! And Big ups to Kingwrex, Liquid Force, Oneiguy and Slowsoul for the last pieces of the puzzle!!!
Test drove the car today...a couple more days till everything is done...what an incredible difference from the 2.5RS auto it once was. good deal man! Is it as much a headache as a GM6 to splice the wiring harness or is it all the same, just change the ECU and you're set?
UPDATE: -Replaced the Injen Short ram intake with a custom made cold air intake (From Sanders old RSTI) -Front Brembo conversion -24mm Front and Rear Whiteline Swaybars w/ WL rear heavy duty mounting brackets -Bigger TMIC -Went wingless -added wrx map light, compass/dimmer rear view mirror (best upgrade yet!!! ;P ) Car is going back in the shop Monday to get my 2.0 replaced with a STI short block (thanks to Sparta).:clap: And a bigger turbo or 280 BC cams (haven't decided yet).
The kid I sold my longblock to got it tuned today and sent me this: He is on stock injectors, stock turbo, catless and Injen SRI. Not too bad.
I'd skip the BC 280 cams. They suck and are not really 280. More like 262. They have more duration but no more lift. You need both to get really good cams.....like GSC or Kelfords. But nice swap and sharp looking car there.
Yeah I wish I had done more research before I bought my cams. It was an impulse buy when I was looking because a vendor sold them to me below cost to get rid of them.

I would pass on the BC cams....they suck. GSC or Kelfords if you wanna go that route. The ones Breel has should work great.
Completed Rear Brembo conversion yesterday and plugged STI cams (decided to stick with the STI cams). Car's really almost there.
Saw the car in person other day, clean car. Don't even paint the trunk, looks good. Looks like flat black CF.
Hahah. Freaking sweet man. I wish I could've gotten my hands on at least an Impreza bug eye. Would've loved it to death. But I now have the Mazda3, and am NOT disappoint. Lol Fun little car.
Had to switch out the 20G (due to a wastgate flapper/actuator issue) with a VF43 and the modded DW950cc to a DW750cc...Final numbers 314/304. Gonna have some fun with this setup awhile before I put the 20g and 950cc back on.
