10:00 am Saturday March 6 is the day for a series of suspension maintenance upgrades on the 2005 STi, that have been planned for a long time. Having assessed the logistics for this, its clear having good help would be great. Anyone is welcome to come over; even more welcome if you are familiar with installing some of these items. In return for your help, there will be complementary Pizza and refreshments [ie beer] of an appropriate nature. There is only one garage bay so time permitting we could do something else for you while you are here. I have a pretty extensive tool setup, however if you have some insight on some of these items and the specialty tools, or odd sizes, that would be great I have a floor jack, ramps, tall jack stands and tools, plus a DeWalt Electric impact wrench and sockets. Absolutely *NOT* needed on the 05+ WRX and STi. The "new" style rack has much more secure mounting and the bushings are way hard. However, on anything with the "old" style rack needs bushings like we need the sun.
Being that I'm now currently unemployed, I'm free and if you want to make the drive down to the shop we can do this on the lift.

Some folks have been fine starting as early as 10:00a so I stocked up for the till? BTW Just a friendly suggestion, its best to come to a complete stop at stopsigns in this area in case "they're watching". of course lots of regular drivers get confused if you do this, but they will get the ticket
DP install anyone? Hey all. I have a Cobb cat-less DP and Cobb heatshield that I need to install on my '10 STI if anyone is interested. Hehe, well he's shitty drunk constantly... it's just that his tollerance is so high that mundane factors like altitude, potassium intake and sunlight can send him into that drunken frenzy. You would be correct though. Actually he said he was sick earlier (probably the liver) and he has plans tomorrow. He has a pretty good tool collection also, which I do not. I've never really needed a big set since my Dad's collection is rather sick. I'm really looking forward to the Stage 2 setup though! Uploading the Stage 2 LWG map today on my AP was nostalgic...
Just bring it over to Chip's if he os ok with that. It will take all of like 30 minutes to put on your DP. Bring some PB Blaster
