Eibach springs came on the car They have done just fine for me. I may upgrade one day or just go with some adjustable shocks. And yes, black dress socks:embarasse
I just switched to some d-specs with race comp springs and I can't believe that I ever took my car on the track with stock sturts and whiteline springs. I can't believe how much of a difference a decent shock/strut can make.
I've driven cars with coil overs and honestly think that if you're not going to take the time to adjust them regularly I'd much rather have my H&R springs and KYB struts, at least compared to coil overs near that price
Just get a set of BC coil overs and call it a day. What are you going to do as far as fueling? I see the ID2200 but what pump setup are you going with?
nice work man, this looks similar to the bugeye build I'm about to start. I didnt think wrx heads had cam sensors in the head
Thanks, Andy has been working hard on those heads. Those particular heads are actually from a customer's Sti. Just showing some of the work and what mine might look like here soon! Those are not the finished port job, just mid way through the job.
Lol, we are waiting for the sonic cleaning until after he is done. But all aluminum will oxidize. It is just part of its nature. I would hazard to guess that any head with 90k miles on it would look about the same. That will not go away unless you grind it off.
Nothing's CoolRex approved....I'm just a butthead.... But seriously I think Mike's car is going to turn out very nicely.
Hope so! Lot of time, effort and money going into it, and not all of it mine, lol. We got the full team in on this one!
That one port took about 4-5 hours of hand porting, but the result is pretty amazing. I can't wait to see what the end results for the whole head will be!
Pics of the new parts that just came in...water to air intercooler, heat exchanger and oem Bosch Ford Lightning water to air fluid pump! Still no bump sticks though. Orders from Australia ftl.
Got my manifold back from the powder coaters today. I went with a nice satin black. The guys at Image Maintenance took care of me as always and did a great job! Pic is up top in the first post.
Well, the leather seats from a 2.5 RS went in yesterday. If anyone needs them I have front and rear WRX seats in pretty darn good condition. Airbags are intact in both front seats.
They fit pretty well! I still need to mess with the back, but the fronts are bolted in and fit great! Pic in the first post.
Fuel cell arrived today. I ordered it from Broke Dick Racing and I am fairly pleased with the quality. It is a 10 gallon cell complete with -10 AN fittings, vent and a nice GM sending unit.
Converter arrived today....thing is pretty sharp looking. The flexplate came with it and is SFI approved. This is one dang good looking converter! Pics on page 1!
