got it done by bryson at wagenwerksatlanta, i will definately be going there for future painting/body work
Are the inserts next to the lights normally black or painted. Your grill looks different from the front, I really like what you have done so far.
yea i got them painted, i have 2 sets of grilles, 1 painted flat black and the other CGM, i'm gonna cut up the flat black ones and insert mesh grilles nah i just dont like the attention sometimes of the hood scoop. If i get a front mount, i have no use for the scoop
borrowed a friends dremel and i'm going to cut up my grilles and have mesh inserts. i'll have pictures up when im done here is a DIY http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1794249
I always thought the hood scoop on WRXs gave it character. Normally, I would hate the look of any car with a hood scoop, but the Impreza/WRX is a completely different story.
finally came around and finished the front grille waiting to put on gms v2 inlet/walbro fuel pump/vf30/fmic/tial bov when the weather gets warmer rally armor flaps on the way :ddirty:
Looks great! +1 for wagenwerks-coming from the VW Scene, those guys do great work. Seen a few friends with their paint/body work. Incredible.
last piece of the vf30 puzzle fmic just came in, cant wait to tune hnoes: i've decided to go with topspeed - i might cut up the bumper today and run around with an interfooler :unamused:
so i had some time to kill after work and decided to get the core and bracket in tonight and after having the medical scissors break on me while cutting up the bumper here is where i am still need to trim the bottom some more, what do ppl recommend to cut up a bumper?
got my wc lathewerks and replaced the decal with one from a local community around here had another sticker lying around so i put it to good use also
Its probally gonna be best to run the stock bov and such for now so make sure that you get all the extra goodies for the install that dont come with the ssac kit. They fooled me! lol I think i have a few thing still lying around if you need
i got it from ajw, its a bit different but in all its the same kit. i using a tial bov with this setup i got this one cause it includes 2 year warranty and a overflow tank and black couplers instead of blue
got my cobb ap back, with the proper software installed, hopefully i'll tune this monday. was pretty bored the other day and gave this DIY a shot, took less than 40 minutes to complete i might tint it or cover it up with vinyl....not sure how i feel about ppl bein able to see in :coolugh:. heres the DIY if anyones interested http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1698481
I understand your concern about letting bystanders see up your skirt through your hoodscoop hole, but damn, that window is teh sex.
haha its no problem thanks for the comments guys! more pics almost invisible at this angle hella flush
Car looks great Pat. Make that front mount black and you'll have a nice sleeper. I really like the scoop delete - let us know how it holds up.
