That and when you're on the brakes, it cuts the motor out, so you slow like crazy... and a few of the turns it is impossible to fit two karts side by side...

I'll make sure i keep an update on the thread, the emails were going to my spam box, so i got that worked out now.

 

BTW what was everyones best times on the new carts? mine was a 26.335 I believe. I was trying to get in the 25's but got thrown out after 4 laps on the last race.

they also wouldn't give me a printout of my races and i haven't gotten an email with race results yet either. I know it used to be on a website, but i can't find that info anymore

 

The first three guys in our group were in the 25s I think

 

Yeah I was second and I got something like a 25.6 behind a 25.5

I went last monday for the first time in 3 months alone. Unfortunately I raced with some ssh: having a party and they were in my way the whole time. Best I did was 27.2xx, but still managed to get 2 seconds faster then all of them.

The carts are def more comfortable to drive, not sure how much I like the over shoulder seatbelt though, it just felt awkward. I wanna say my cart was pretty quick and well balanced. I bumped them twice without getting thrown out, but I think they saw that these guys absolutely sucked and I had no choice.

I was thinking we need to set up a time attack hour or so where we can all run solo a couple of laps to see our best times.

 

not sure if this coming monday is the next gtg, but megan and i are going to andrettis this monday. if anyone is up for it come and join us!

Not sure I will feel up to it after having my wisdom teeth yanked out tomorrow...hope to though.

This place is pretty gay now... they don't even have the $2 drafts on monday nights anymore. That and one of my good friends works there and since the management change just because he works there means that he can't drink there at all. I told him he should have quit then and there and told them to go to hell

 

Are the half price races still happening on Mondays?

They keep sending me emails about BS promotions for food and other entertainment. Too bad the only reason I want to go there is to race.
