TopSpeed private track day @ Roebling Rd. April 20th

TopSpeed has rented out Roebling Road on April 20th, 2010.

This will be a small private test day limited to 10 cars total. The price per entry will be $250 bucks, for the full day. You will have access to get on track whenever you want that day. So no waiting for your run group, to only get 30mins of track time.

I promise you will have more track time then you will be able to use.



Also available for hire at the track will be a shock engineer from JRZ or Professional driver coaching from last years Rolex GT champion.

How bad is Roebling on tires if I take the M3? IIRC it chewed up my WRX tires pretty bad but I had cheapo Koreans on it.

only in what you paid for your car Ken, I think you'll be surprised at the lap times of the competition in comparison. It's a shame Drew parted his car out, would have loved to see what it would have done at Roebling.

 

Being my car is down and out for a motor swap and won't be done in time. Can I take the 1988 Justy out for a couple laps for shits and giggles?

Without suspension it would have sucked....and it would have been out of brakes by lap 2

I think the Porsche did VERY well on street tires from what I read on FB.

 

We did really well... got the car about 90%.. so we are getting close to the window.

Lets just say we ran a few secs faster then our previous time... a time that very few street cars have done without using slicks

 

Should have pics up in a little while, that yellow Topspeed banner across the windshield is being a bitch though

Doug could you tell a difference with adding that front lip spoiler/diffuser/whatever you call it?

We cut just about a second off our time by switching the wing

 

How about that custom front lip? It make a diff?

That's moving!...great job. Were you running Traqmate? What speeds were you seeing at the end of the straight?

This year's One Lap is going to be one of the most competitive ever....can't wait to see how it all unfolds.

 

I can only assume the front splitter I built is working since we can now run the rear wing with a good bit of angle without over powering the font aero.
