Game looks so badass. Thinking about picking it up this evening. FWIW, Fry's has it for $49.99 and BB will price match.
This game is badass. I haven't played much of the single player yet, but I've played a few hours of the free roam online with a few friends.

Gonna wait to play it before purchase... I'm not a huge fan of GTA, and this seems to be GTA, old west style. These types of games are fun, but once you get over the "hey, I can go anywhere and do anything" and just realize its a game that never ends... it grows tiresome (for me anyways). Also, I wish that everyone in your party while doing a co-op mission got credit for completed missions, rather than just the host. I don't mind helping people get achievements.. but playing a game for 3 hours and getting no credit for it pisses me off....
Played it for about an hour last night. The intro is intriguing and I think the storyline stands a good chance at being really quite interesting. Then again, I love Westerns so maybe that's just me. I am really hoping they pay homage to Ennio Moricone with their score throughout the game.

Definitely a fun game to watch the hubby play! Especially when he put a hogtied horse thief on the RR tracks. I really didn't think anything would happen when the train came....... :eek2::eek4:

Are you on PS3 or 360? I have it installed on my 360 and haven't had any issues with the sound. Now getting kicked out of free roam games is another matter. :grr:
I was playing it on my PS3. but it was Alex's disc...he took it home and it worked just fine for him.
picked it up last night at bestbuy for 39.99! Showed the cashier a 49.99 fry's advertisement but she mustve thought it said 39.99 The game is awesome. Just started it this morning, hard to put down.
I played for about 2 and a half hours last night...spent the majority of time running around killing and skinning as many animals as possible...made damn good money doing that as well lol

yes. no issues at all. It's almost as if my console knew the copy wasn't mine. I didn't change anything, install/download anything, etc...
My friend has been raving about this game so I ordered a copy online. Hope to have it tomorrow. Sounds like fun!
So how is the multiplayer? Is it a MMO type multiplayer or are you just playing with your XBL/PSN friends?
multiplayer is pretty cool..you can jump into a random game or create your own with friends..played it lastnight for a few hours..
Ive had to put my RDR on pause while I play through Borderlands. Kinda got sucked into that last week (and it is awesome).
I've been playing a bunch of RDR lately but today I tried to play MW2 and realized my fingers don't remember the buttons!
