TopSpeed / 997 GT3 Sequential Shifter Install & Demo

Discussion in 'Meetups & Events' started by Cicio@TopSpeed, Jun 8, 2010.

  1. The team installed an interesting item last week that I thought I would share with you guys. I will gather a few more pictures of the in stall if anyone wants them, but here is a short clip if it in action, and a few pictures of the car.

We also did a full track setup on the car to get it ready for some PCA events. The costumer is loving the new setup and shifter.

    Thanks guys...Enjoy!

looks pretty sweet, how much power did it put down. Any gains over the older tranny? not that it matters

nicad Yes I am a troll

    this uses the getrag 6-speed?

just to clarify, the transmission is not a sequential box, it just has a trick shifter on it now? just asking, since I saw a few of these for sale for G50 boxes (the older 993 5-speed gearboxes) and some of the kit car guys were using them

    Such a nice car.

Question, why is the front brake caliper off the car for the alignment?

because the hub plates wouldn't fit unless we removed them
