^^^I have neither. I had a 360 but twice got red ring of death so gave up on it. My PS2 is finally starting to refuse playing DVD's (it'll stop mid way through the movie). I used to have a DVD player years ago but it started transmitting static so I ditched it....since I had the PS2 been using it to play DVD's for the last 5 years. Would like a Wii to play the games. But it sucks that it doesn't play DVD's out the box. I don't play video games very much so the PS3 I can't justify the cost when I have a co-worker selling his Wii on the CHEAP.
dude youre a baller. Just buy a ps3. i didnt buy a ps3 to play video games either..i use it for dvd, br and streaming
well I guess you could be broke. I mean you have dumped thousands of dollars into your uber duber M3 so I can see how 300 bux for a ps3 might put you over the limit. edit: smiley added to cool CoolRex down
What little you know.......other than the $10,000 I paid for the M3 (subtracted the down payment) I've only spent $1500 on the M3. That was for all new suspension bushings to replace the blown stockers, a new radio, and rear trailing arms. Got other stuff coming that was free because I gave my buddy a good lead on his car (only a few here are in the know on this new monster traveling to Topspeed soon). He used to own a M3 but sold it and took many CF parts off so I get them free!
Bunch of jibber jabber as usual eh? Search homebrew. That's what I've been reading. Here... http://hbc.hackmii.com/download/ Just don't know how legit it is and everything that's involved.....so has anyone done it?
Since you're such a baller, for $28.00... http://www.walmart.com/ip/Magnavox-DVD-Player-Dp100Mw8B/7958349
follow this guide, thank me later... http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended...4630-full-hacking-guide-4-2-system-menus.html edit: and download some wii games while you are at it
what about just getting netflix and getting the free wii playback disk for online content? that'd be good place to start...
I passed on the Wii. Decided this morning PS3 was a better deal since the game selection is much better, some of my favorite series are on it (FF series), and it can also play BluRay.
Yeah. I'll likely get games that are hard and challenging. Hence why I like the FF games...they can be hard and take forever to complete as I don't like to rush through them nor do I play for hours on end.
What I like about the Wii is I just download all my games. Yes, I am a horrible person. But I have not paid for 1 game yet, and I have a rather full catalog all playable off of a USB harddrive. My PS3 is great but I never really play it. Little Big Planet with the wife and God of War is about it. I do use it for streaming from my computer but am considering purchasing a dedicated device for that since the PS3 can not handle high quality HD content that well.
paying for stuff FTL... if you know where you're getting it from, you're pretty safe when it comes to getting caught or d/l'ing viruses. I run 5 hard drives on my computer and run ZERO firewalls and anti-virus protection...I just run dual monitors, one is my 26" main monitor, the other is my 52" LCD TV...download the movie, put it on the big screen and go. Helps having optical audio out to the receiver so I can get surround sound...true 1080P w/ digital audio, can your WiiWii do that?
I have read it is a flaw in the way the PS3 uses its cores. I am talking 8GB+ hd files here.... I use: PS3 Media Server Tversity PlayOn depending on my mood
