Hot car, love the color. That hardtop looks very S2000ish. Also, are those brake cooling ducts in the fog light openings? I'd like to see underhood shots.

Not surprising at all! Still wish you're battery powered Miata project had panned out, but I love your conversion!

very nice david, now you have to learn how to drive that thing. I almost lapped you twice at TGP until I decided to go blast away some styrofoam. lol

LOL whatever. It was a test and tune - I was tweaking all kind of things in the car.

I POINTED you by buddy, then you promptly flew off the track and ate styrofoam AND dirt (I've got pictures and in-car videos to prove it). And don't start that "I slipped on your leaking fluid" thing because it NOBODY else had the same problem and neither was there a clean up. Besides, I was behind you when you went off. I don't blame you though, a mean miata in your rear view mirror is rather distracting. :keke:

I've got a vented hood now. I can already tell it's helping greatly - it's not overheating in this hot weather

Thanks! It was dyno'ed at 370whp which is about 430 at the crank.
Maybe one day. The e-miata would have cost 3x more than this one. :(
Yeah those are cooling ducts. Makes the pads run much longer. Underhood shots from the miatajournal.com article:

That is a sexy CF hood. I don't normally like CF body parts, but that hood rocks...

Thanks! I don't care for CF that much either.

I'm more of a go than a show person. The car started as an ultimate sleeper but then it just got too boring.
Later everything I added had a functional reason. The top and wing were for helping with aero - it does make it much stabler at the end of the back straight at RA. The hood is mainly for all the heat trapped under the hood. yeah it's totally riced out now.
