    It stated legacy and outback models, not the STi.

    Awesome... just got 2 recalls done on my almost brand new car... looks like I might be in for number 3. Gotta check my build date.

    I noticed that also, but they say 6 Speed Trans. Aside from the Legacy GT, what other Legacy or Outback has a 6 Speed? Wonder if it was supposed to say Legacy and Impreza?

    the 2010 legacy either gets the CVT or 6speed... no 5speed

    The Legacy and Outback are not the same 6 speeds as the STi. VERY different. Essentially they are 5 speed cases with 6 gears CRAMMED in them.

    And LOL at 'lube hole'.

    They could just market it as a "No maintenance transmission".

    I wonder if this will cause them to reconsider their no warranty on trannys with broken gears..
