Anyone know of a tireshop/vendor that carries Dunlop Direzza z1 star specs (245 40 18) locally in GA? Or is this a case where i just bite the bullet and go with tirerack? Trying to get a price comparison from online and local, not really sure if I save anything after the shipping cost.
you have to get them from tirerack.com or have a vendor get them from tirerack.com. They just signed a deal with Goodyear for the star specs. edit: of course this happened not too long ago, so it is possible that someone has them in a warehouse still. but most places I called didn't
Ah, thanks guys, guess I'll print out tirerack's quote and hit up the tire shops near me, and see what happens. Worse case scenario I quit drinking the iwsti forum juice and get a different tire

Kieran at GTE use to honor the Tirerack prices but I dont know if he still does or only does it for certain people. He is out today but I can give him a call tomorrow if you want me to.
