2005 CTS-V I find myself needing 4 doors more and more. I can make do with 2 doors but it can get difficult.
that took just slightly longer than I thought it would. Once the kid was in the picture I figured it wouldn't be long before the m3 was out of it.
Doesn't mean we won't try again We are cleared for December. Oh and I'm keeping the car. I enjoy it entirely too much. We are just gonna upgrade the wife to a mid sized SUV.
get on your checkbook. they had a 320 turbo racecar at petit driven by david hobbs (speed commentator) I4 making 600bhp. "flying bricks"
Yeah that car above is for sale. Has a Dinan turbo kit on it. 90k ish miles and is selling for $20K. I paid less than that for my car that has less miles, more comfort, and is faster (until that car gets race gas). Still I LOVE the e30's.
You were saying you bought ur car with less miles etc... for less money. Like you got a good deal or something. Well the turbo kit alone is worth than ur low mile car etc..... alone. So can't compare the 2.
Next time you do something retarded like this (rehosted for posterity), do it so we can read. I'd imagine whatever copy is in there is pretty scathing, but there's really no way to tell. Now, back to our regularly scheduled member journal.
After turning up the brightness on my monitor this is what it says......pretty pathetic and feeble "This is the "White Beast" Took 20 Grand to finish, and one idiot to total it withing a week. This is what debt looks like in desperate times. Don't build it if you can't afford it. At least other people bought it for parts to get him out of debt. Spelling is how it's typed. LOL. Funny.....he acts like I was in debt and couldn't 'afford' it. Not once could I not afford what I borrowed . And I'm sure the lady that I swerved to miss appreciates the decision I made to not save the car and put it in the ditch. (Yes I know if I hadn't answered the freaking phone in the first place I wouldn't have been in the situation but lesson learned M3 has bluetooth radio which I must say is VERY VERY nice to have.)
Damn, I had one word misspelled. And it's not photoshop douche, it's paint. And I'm probably better in PS than most people on here. You would be amazed what I can do with it.
I'm no longer worried about SMG issues. There is now a DIY on swapping the SMG for 6MT utilizing the SMG trans (which is identical to 6MT minus a few minor parts). You can do the swap for $700-1000 vs the normal $2500-5000 it costs to fix SMG issues. The hardest part will be finding someone that can code the DME to turn it into a 6mt DME. Doug may even be able to do that for you possibly but have to see. Autologic can so any shop with that can help ya.
Yes it will help a lot of people with SMG issues and parked cars. I myself will continue driving SMG until it gives me problems. It may or may not......but if it does then it's not too much of a biggy :wiggle: Least the fix is WAAAAY cheaper than the 5MT fix I had to do for the WRX :wavey:
Are the SMG prices lower on the Ms than the 6MTs? Would this make it worthwhile to buy a used and hurt SMG and swap to the 6?
Yes. Lower by $5000 when I was shopping for like years and mileage. After I bought mine I found out it should have been worth $10K more with all the suspension goodies and the optional $9600 interior package that is a one of a kind.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY over priced. Mine had full suspension on it, $9600 custom package interior straight from Germany, and same miles and I got it for $18000.
but yours wasnt featured in bimmer magazine 5 years ago which is obviously worth an extra 18 grand added on to the price tag hnoes:
