Updated 02-07-11 Blaster has submitted two designs for the hoodies. We would appreciate your feedback! --------------------------------------- I have changed the poll based on responses. I think it is safe to say that we'll be going with some form of hooded zip-up or pullover. I just ordered three of the thermal zip-ups from American Apparel to play with. I think it would be neat if we personalized our hoodies with our usernames. The left side of the jacket would feature your username; the ride side would feature the club's name, WRXAtlanta.com (logo format undecided). Please vote! Greetings all, I am currently looking at our jacket options from the company that I purchased our most recent batch of shirts from. We have a lot of options from brands such as American Apparel, Dickies, Augusta, Champion, etc. I would prefer to see the jacket prices be no more than $40.00 after all is said and done. Pricing on these brands that I mentioned allows for that. A poll is attached to this thread so that we can first decide what type of outerwear we want, such as a jacket that zips up (full zip), a jacket with a hood, a lined jacket, and what have you. For argument's sake, I have included an additional option for pullovers. This could potentially include a 1/4 zipper as well. Please vote and let me know what we should be looking at. I will take the results from the poll at the end of the week and post up applicable options based on your responses. No design or theme has been chosen yet; however, I will be able to take advantage of the embroidery machine at my shop since jackets are thicker material than the shirts. We could do a nice embroidered wrxatlanta.com logo on the front and a nice screen on the rear. I have done some testing, and our machine doesn't really like to do beanies (sorry guys). I can look for another vendor to try and do beanies for us, but that's only if someone other than Rick wants one Thanks, Alex
I have no idea who he is or how he is IRL...but he's from Jersey, so he automatically gets the stereotype
I would like to point out that his shirt is fitted correctly. wearing baggy clothes is never acceptable.
I want a beanie! I wear them 3/4 of the seasons with summer being the exception of course. It's just too damn hot then. I can't ever get a good one, and if I do I somehow lose it. I hate when it flips over on the bottom.
AA has this great fleece lined hoody that we can get at a good price so long as we buy 12+. Should be pretty warm. I may order one or swing by one of their stores to check it out. http://store.americanapparel.net/5452.html
Yes he is. I have not met him face to face but seen him at a HIN gathering. He acts just like those guido jerks on Jersey Shore from what I observed.
I'm not down with how they advertise their clothing or how the employees of their business represent themselves. Nevertheless, the majority of their wears are comfortable and thats all I care about. Although it took me a minute to figure out that this girl was wearing leggings, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXc2JtlgxJM&feature=player_embedded
Yes you did sir, yes you did. I've been known to use a cane, gotta keep my bitches in line somehow. Know what I'm sayin?
Blaster stopped by their Euclid location to check out the fleece lined hooded jacket I had my eyes on. He said its worth a shot, so I will go ahead and order a small handful to play with. Um, what?
I think its safe to say we're going with a hooded sweatshirt or zip up. The next question is would you want to personalize your hoodie with your username? Right side would have WRXAtlanta.com Left side would have your username
Demo hoodies are in and they're pretty much awesome. I'm stoked to play with it and see what we can come up with for everyone
Pricing is not set, expect between $40 and $50.00. The hoodies themselves retail at $50, unembellished. We're planning on an embroidered front and screened rear. We'll be using the eurostile logo that's on the top of the website / current logo, and I will be offering the option of embroidering your name or screen name. I've been wearing mine all week and it is definitely comfortable for regular use. They're light, but not too light that it feels cheap or doesn't keep you warm.
I vote the donut one. lololololo Just kidding. I think I'd go with the one where it's all on one side. As for the back, is only the 2011 STI available?
i personally dont like the picture of the sti on the back, perhaps a wrxatlanta logo or the flasher would work.
We're ready to go with these actually. We'll be using a local screen printing shop (Decatur Screen Print) for the rear and our embroidery machine at the shop for the front. I've already been on the phone with DSP to discuss and we're ready to go once everyone decides whether or not they like this design. I'm adding a poll to this thread right now.
