Recently I was out of town for SEMA, and upon return my father in law passed away.. so as a result my wrx sat for about a week and a half.

I went to start it and it had a rough slow start, idle evened out, but it seemed to be running pretty odd. i checked for codes with my accessport and it showed a 0122 throttle position sensor code. It was running fine before my trip, strange that just sitting for a little over a week would cause issues?

It seems slower i want to almost say there seems to be some sort of timing issue or misfire as a result of this, boosts up just fine but just feels so slow, also there's more backfire/afterfire than before and it seems a lot louder.

Any advice on what I should check? Thanks.

Not running for a couple of days along with cooler weather hardened all the crap in the intake tract and is keeping the butterfly from working freely.

That would make sense. It just struck me as odd, as it was running fine right before i left, I'll try this and go from there. thanks!
