Does anyone know of a local place that has a good selection of IWB holsters for concealed carry that I can tuck my shirt in. I have tried Bulls Eye in Lawrenceville and although they have a nice sized selection of holsters most are for open carry. Also tried American Classic in Norcross and they didnt have much to choose from. I was looking at a few holsters online but I would like to see/feel/try on before buying.
yea i was looking at the crossbreed. It looks pretty comfortable. did you get the horsehide or cowhide? how long did it take for you to receive it?
horsehide. it took a while, but this was back when breel had his letter writing campaign against socialism so the back up was substantial does anyone else find it ironic that a guy named Weapon is asking about holsters?
no, but i find it fitting that the only responses have come from Ball, Justin and Brett. If Breel was here, this would be a y2k extravaganza reincarnate
good question...let me call him. I haven't seen him since my birthday, he's probably just got it and I haven't picked it up yet
Weren't you still running around in pull-ups when it was y2k? Besides I don't need a holster for a two shot Colt 45 long.
I get what you're saying but I don't frequent da clubs or carouse in neighborhoods on foot where I feel like I would need to carry anything more. But I do tend to drive with a 45 with the option to carry.
This thread had me thinking. We should set up a Shooting Range meet in the near future. Lots of ranges to choose from. Last time was pretty fun.
yeah. i thought we tried a shooting meet one time. only like 3 of us showed up. and two of them don't even post here anymore. Me, Greg and Keegan. and i concur, ammo is ridiculous. and so are range fees. my parents live less than 2 miles from a free outdoor government range down here. thats nice, but the gnats/mosquitoes suck during the summer.
American Classic next to my house, last I went, was about 40$ with rental, and w/o ammo. Bloody expensive that.
i remember just going with greg one time to the place up there in alpharetta (bullseye marksman, i think) with his sheriff's discount it was still ~$60 plus ammo and plus he rented a glock to try.
Bullseye in Cumming charges $16 per hour per person for Range Time. Sandy Springs Gun Club charges $20 per person for Range time, but that time is unlimited. Since you are paying for a lane for that price, we would be best off to get multiple lanes, as opposed to how it went down last time, where we had 10+ people shooting at 2 lanes. Place was crowded as all hell that day, so I guess that may just be the location. Sandy Springs Gun Club was empty a couple weeks ago when I went. They have 2 different lane rooms, each with about 8-10 lanes per room. When I went, I was in room 2, and there was one other guy shooting when I started. About 2 minutes later, he left and I had the room to myself for a good 20 minutes until I finished up. I would say that Sandy Springs Gun Club would be the ideal location based on this past experience, the size of the room and layout. It would be much more comfortable then Nicks or Bullseye where we are all cramped into a little space. They had rifle ranges in a 3rd room, and also a Tactical Range with moving targets of some sort, but I forgot to check out the Tactical range.
you wanna get shot with a .380? Why you say it's worthless? Seriously I'm trying to learn here from those with more knowledge.
couple of the detectives down here carry these as a secondary. You just can't go wrong with anything chambered in a 45acp http://www.budspolicesupply.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/3_14/products_id/315
I won't get into an argument about caliber size because they all have merit but the question is do you want to stop them dead or feel pity for their social standing and just wing them?
Well I'm not gonna pull if I'm not willing to pull the trigger so yeah I want it to be effective. But don't wanna conceal carry a heavy bulky gun either.
never heard a story about a 45 bouncing off of someones head... can't say the same about 380's though
Say what? I've never heard such a story. I know a lot of people that CC a .380 over all other due to conceal-ability.
here you go coolrex, a European handbag (conceal/carry) that comes in a color to match your interior http://www.guntotenmamas.com/cgi-bin/commerce.cgi?preadd=action&key=GTM099
