My new car...as you can see she is on the dyno about to get the TS Treatment. Stay tuned. Brandon at Allpro is responsible for the creation below... cleaned her up a bit. I really need to dress up under the hood a bit. with her garage mate, she's nasty, just take my word for it.
Looks possible coolbimmer, first full pull 17lbs pump only 320/314. Just turned on the meth, check back soon
That's way more than I ever made on pump only! Congrats and Doug FTW! Change anything or all the same stuff buggy had?
Ugh.....sorry about the pump! Did you grab the one out my old car? Those are the newest seals in that pump but it's been sitting for a while now.
It's the same old setup his bugeye has....that is THE setup from the bug. Deadbolt 18g, TMIC, meth, etc iirc. Pretty much copied me tit for tat for the most part when I had the EJ205. But wait a min.......you slipped in the 2.5L though didn't ya (looking at those nice numbers esp the tq). It's an EXCELLENT setup and a dead reliable one at that.
yes we did, 2.5l that was going in the race car, your old maddad headers and tial wg EDIT: and STi cams. decided I would go back to TM since my nice aps is not so nice anymore. I'm glad the pump went out as I had been thinking of switching systems and now have a reason...5th pump! Alex you wanted some angles, here you go. Sorry but she is dirty and my lazy ass has to move. So clean pictures will arrive around the time of the meth tune...LOL Regrets: maddad headers - NO boxer rumble mated to my quiet exhaust = hear all the squeeks and vibrations NOT getting rid of the 6 puck its worse than ever the lighter weight didn't help it made it way worse! enjoy the dirty pics fellaz new carpet too...yeah so hot I jizzled a bit on the seat from her stunning looks! haha
nope not your wheels and I have plans for a system that will hush the noises. I will keep the headers for now.
Congrats Rick, nice to see this thing coming around nicely. So when are you getting the blacken completed? 5%...
haha you are confused my son...this IS the old blacken aka IAMSTIG now know as RSTI. the race car is in the garage. I think some are going to get confused so I may work up a jounal to explain.
It really wasn't that badly damaged. New control arms, doors, front fender, and bumper and I bet that was it.
lol....It wasn't that bad. Behind the ecu was just a bunch of extra that I didn't cut short. Under the hood was all wiring for HID to relays and teh Hella horns. The radio was clean. My issue was I added so many electronics at various times and basically go lazy and crammed the wires where they could go and be hidden. But it worked and never had an issue. You will be proud of me.....ask to see the wiring in the BMW. Clean as a whistle! See I learned!
Nice numbers Rick. That's a hell of a ride now...interior is primo!!! EDIT: Brandon described your build as Betsy* status (*the name his wife gave my car) so I know he put some love into it.
BMW wiring is not wiring to mess with from everything i've read. their electronics are really fidgity
I guess you got over your disdain for Wilwood setups then? And it looks like you're going to need 1-2" more rear fender!
got over my distain for noisy brake pad comp. I'm going to get the HP+ as it should be find for the street. Yes need more fender but will probably drop tire size once these wear out. Enough can't be said for the job Brandon did, his dedication to detail, last minute sacrifices and a man of his word. He promised me a Christmas present and I got it!!!
Yes they are so you have to make sure to do it right and to do it clean. Sloppy connections and ground will make the car hate you for life.
How do you make sure you get the right Hawk pad for a Wilwood setup? I'm going to need some on the BMW before too long.
This is a nice car indeed. I saw the progression at All Pro and love the outcome. Congrats Rick, I hope to join the swapped gc club once my wagon gets sold.
