Ok- sold my coilovers, and decided to go with a smoother spring/strut combo. I have some new GR2s, looking to fit some good springs with it. I've got an 04 wrx, mostly drag race, occasionally do some road course, and do some spirited mountain driving. This car is not a daily driver, and if the ride is a bit stiff I don't mind, as long as it won't beat me to death. I do want some drop, but I don't want the slammed effect you get with S-techs or similar springs.. I'm seriously considering some RCE yellows, but would like to hear some educated opinions before I make the buy.
I have it on my car now and its a great combo when your behind the wheel but as a passenger its not a smooth ride. I am actually going to trade the rce blacks back for the whitelines that were on my car.
i had the whiteline flatout springs on my old wrx on stock shocks. i think it was lowered fairly well for a DD and handled great in the mountains.
Thanks for the replies guys... I hadn't considered RCE blacks, and I've never heard of swift... guess I have a little more research to do.
I found these, but I'm wondering do I still need regular springs in addition to the ones already installed? http://www.racinglab.com/tokico-dsk-518.html
