I'm not sure what the pricing level, I'd have to look as I just don't remember, but the Sony Alpha series have been receiving excellent reviews especially for new entrants.
I still have a Pentax Kx for sale. Comes with an 18-55 kit lens, manual, software, original box, Pentax branded Sling Bag, cables for connecting to TV and computer. Camera has very little use and looks/performs in like new condition. Asking price is $375, but that can be negotiated. I will post pics in a minute.

I had a Nikon D90 but wanted a weather sealed body, couldn't afford a Full Frame DSLR, wasn't interested in the D300, and liked the built in stabilization that Pentax Offers in the camera body. I got rid of the Nikon, picked this up as a fill in body until I could save for my current Pentax K5. So, this camera needs to go. Very lightly used, I can get an exact shutter count for you if you need. Long and short is I have another camera and I don't need this one, but its an amazing camera for the price (even new)!
