No different than STi owners loving the color pink.....oh I'm sorry mad tight subaru cherry blossom red.
Hahah. There's your Subie side coming out. But that setup looks pretty good. The wheels are huge though.
Busy month for mine and Kennys m's. Just put in an order. Full suspension bushings overhaul and Motorsport 4.10 gears. Will be here in 3 days. So all that, catless headers, Topspeed tune should make this one hella nice ride Oh and hammered gold oem wheels :wiggle:
LOL. I've lost my mind......the weekend after my cast is coming off all the goodies will be installed I hope. Add new front swaybar endlinks to the list.....they are the source of my front end clunk. I disconnected the front sway last night and tied everything out of the way. Zero clunk on way in to work.
Hmmm... I always assumed fancy European cars NEVER clunked. <says the previous owner of a B5 A4 who went through 2 sets of upper control arms in 100K> So are you an innovator for bringing gold wheels to the BMW community? I'm consider some upswept DTM tips for LGT dual exhaust. Since the dual exhaust is dumb on a 4 cylinder car anyway, I figure I'll shoot for absolute moron and go for the DTM look on a Japanese car. P.S. Does anybody think it's funny that gold wheels look cool on Subarus because we all watched WRC? Do we all realize that the other 99.3% of the US population thinks gold wheels look retarded (and are probably right)? Don't get me wrong I like gold wheels, but I KNOW I am a retarded jerk.
Clunk is result of OEM endlinks on massive Turner Motorsports front sways (30-34mm iirc). The boot wore out and lots of grit got in the bearing. Endlinks are cheap at $30 a pair. I like the gold.....so your point is? And yes gold wheels been done on BMW's by many others. Matter of fact there were oem wheels on several makes that were gold in the early 80's before Subarus were even popular
Beg to differ, there is a gold 840i down here, wheels and all. Surprised it hasn't been used in a video yet.
There were a handful and a handful of mixed asians. Hines Ward and Dat Nguyen are probably the only current asians EDIT: Just figured out what breel's comment was =}
Well made the decision to be smart and replace all the bearings and seals while in there. They should be here Thursday/Friday. So while I'm waiting on the diff I will be proactive and install the headers this week while the car is down......eff waiting on the cast to come off.
Saw Medusa's hair last night. OEM headers are ready to drop. Almost there. Heh and did all this one handed.
