Out with the old, in with the new- WRboXer's build thread.

I do miss the wagon, but i think ill be happy with the replacement.

    Old

New. 2004 STI, nice everything, i am super impressed with the Spec-c interior. Missed the wagon pretty bad on the drive back to atl...until i was coming out of the toll next to cayman-s and ran 2nd, 3rd, and 4th with alittle bit of spin in second that i hadnt felt in a longggg time...didnt miss it so much all of a sudden. Then getting on it turning on to my road and have to recall the quicker hand action to keep the ass relatively in check. Got lucky with the wheels, even though they may not look the best they were the only ones that fit that i could keep...the OZ's woudlnt clear the brembos :(. They looked AWESOME on this color to, ugh.

Bad pics for now, ill take a few better one or maybe slave out eric again for some more stunna HDR pics when i have a wheel that compliments the car a bit nicer.

I would prefer to spend the money on wheels, but if i cant source a suitable wheel quickly that is in my price range, tires it is.

Personally, alittle small and dont really compliment the car all that well. They have bald ass tires, was planning on keeping my oz's but they didnt clear the fing brembos....they looked soooo goood to.

    Yep, zerosports formula starter kit.

Eddie, yep been in atlanta alittle over a year now. You any good with wiring? If so i may be whoring out alittle help from ya buddy. :)

Onei, no the OZ's are gone man. The 5zigens totally saved my ass, funny i thought the OZ's would clear at 18x8 +48 yet the 5z's cleared at 17x7.5 +47. I even drove 2 hours back on those corded rs2's. They were a real life saver.

Na, it was coming out of the toll and not only is it notoriously slipper surface but there was also a nice little bump to help upset any grip the corded tires had. Car just jumped around a bit as it scrambled for a bit more traction.

Thanks guys, i do plan on changing a few parts here and there, but the arc knob and airbox may or may not on the list. As of right now, they are not on the list because i have bigger fish to fry.

As the car currently sits. Waiting on some silver 18x8.5 SSR GT2's
    [IMG]
Installed some whiteline steering rack bushings, removed good condition Chargespeed CF lip, made a few touch ups to the back up Chargespeed CF lip and installed it.

Removed the Cusco Ti strut brace and going to sell it. Getting ready to removed the Cusco Zero 2E's and Econn and will be installing my AST/Whiteline Group 4's will also be installing a set of JDM STI trailing arms with upgraded bushings.\[IMG]

The exhaust on this car is a Power House Amuse R1 Super Titan exhaust. Basically it means its Titanium and has a resonator and a muffler so its not going to disturb the neighbors to bad. Its connected to a catted Zerosports down pipe that is "shorty" length. The JDM catbacks are longer then USDM ones. So that means 7 of my 8 feet of TBE is Ti...awesome. Pics for fun.

I never saw these posts for some reason. Anywho, yes eddie i will be whoring your help shortly, dont worry i buy good beer and food buddy. ;)

Productive yet PITA day. Removed cusco's and installed the AST, and installed the JDM trailing links.

The trailing links were the hardest "4bolts" job i ever had to do. Had to torch the 2 and 3 times each...huge bitch.

Well, I figured since I didn't go into real debt for this car and i just found out what my tax return will be...decided I could afford some nicer items for the car.

Just bought a set of shaved 245/40/18 advan ad08 neovas for this summers dedicated auto-x and track day tire. I have my eye on the SE solo auto-x schedule. I would consider this tire purchase premature as the car still needs a roll center kit and a alk/anti dive to really turn, but for the price I couldn't pass them up.

Yeah the little things that make big differences were skipped on the car. I've got plenty to keep my hands busy, but nothing to expensive.

You should keep that S203 wing -- flows with the car and was definitely a well known mark of Amnesiac's car.
