It's finally here, the Atlanta Region SCCA's first autocross event!!! This March 5th and 6th, the Atlanta Region SCCA SOLO program (www.soloatlanta.com) will be hosting a Test-n-Tune (March 5th) and our first points event (March 6th). We've changed our registration policy to reflect the demand for people who wish to run the entire day and run both in the morning and afternoon. So, if you're running in class in the afternoon, feel free to sign-up for your normal class as well as afternoon time only. If you have any questions, you can always talk to us on-site about afternoon TO runs. If you just want to come out and run out of class, you can also register online for both morning and afternoon TO runs. If you have any questions, email the registrar on the Motorsports Reg page. Also, for those who want to eat lunch on site, we'll have access to Daly's Grill as usual. Anyone who has had their Q or brisket knows that you get an incredibly gourmet meal for just a few bucks. If that's not your game, there will be burgers, dogs and brats. Additionally, there will be a group representing NOS energy drink at our events all day handing out drinks and giving away free samples. Lastly, we're going to have representatives from the Atlanta Region RallyX program should you have any questions about the competition off-roading program in the Atlanta Region this year. I know the Wilkinsons will be there with their STX WRX and there's going to be two more STis in STU. Griswold and Barros have been killing it towards the end of last season. Understandable. Just make sure and plan out the season ahead of time. I've found that my wife could care less most of the time about my autocrossing with 3 exceptions: 1. tell me ahead of time and remind me 2. spend extra time with me 3. don't bankrupt me Keep those three things in mind and you'll be fine. Since we're down at Turner Field anyways and my wife loves the Vortex, I always try to take her out after events. That's always a huge bonus. If you're really lucky, you can get her involved too and then you're doing stuff together. Feel free to PM me about it and maybe we can work something out if you might be able to get her out to some events this year...
haha she does race..her 07 speed 3 and were co-driving my 95 miata at the moment..wedding coming up in 2 months so were pushed on time and cash lol
