So I bought some spare headlights off of nasioc and I'm going to try and attempt to retrofit them myself. Ive seen the process in a couple of videos and it doesn't seem all that complicated just time consuming test fitting to get the right fit and have everything line up. I know a few members on here have done this before I was just looking for some advice/tips as far as the process goes and where to get parts. Theres a kit on theretrofitsource.com that comes with a plug and play harness. Should I get that or source every piece? Also Ive seen the vacuum set up for making shrouds and wasn't quite sure as how to set it up or where to get pieces of acrylic. Any input would be much appreciated.
buy the kit from retrofit source. that's where I got mine and Alex gets his parts. The FX-35R is the best output for the money if you want bi-xenon. The shrouds they have are top notch as well, so I would just get everything from them.

I appreciate the heads up on the coupon code.I definitely want to talk to you before I start all the cutting and what not. My spare headlights came in today, ill let you know once I get the rest of the parts.
Ordered the FX-R kit today. The WRXatl coupon code did not work for some reason. Before I do the cutting should I do the alignment step where I line everything up with where the halogens light was or is this step not necessary due to the leveling screws?
finally finished everything just have to wire the CCFLs. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pictures Ill get some better ones up later.
