I finally finished my stage 2 conversion. It was a long journey of collecting parts and being scammed on NASIOC but I finally finished my install yesterday.

    Parts:
    JDM catless up pipe
    COBB catted down pipe
    COBB mid pipe
    Perrin axle back

I made mistakes, like purchasing something before you see it & unbolting both motor mounts to change out the up pipe (motor shifted 1" forward and it was hell to get back in place) but I came out of it fine & with NO leaks.

Biggest hurdle was getting the Perrin axle back to mate up to the COBB mid pipe. I had to get a family friend to add half an inch of 3" pipe to the mid pipe and rotate the flange to mate up to the axle back. If anyone needs custom work done in the mid GA area (car/motorcycle/boat) let me know. Good price and great work.

Congrats! Now all you need is a set of H6 Legacy brakes and rotors to handle all that new power.

I just wonder where you could get a set? :dunno

    ;)

I just need to go ahead and add a YouTube icon next to the hyperlink, image and quote. Fixed the OP for you. I had a similar issue with my Cobb catback. I had a flex joint with 3" ID and 3" flange welded into the area, so I feel your pain there.

Thanks for fixing my post, I think I can embed youtube videos now. Heres the mid pipe with the extra half inch 3" spacer and rotated flange tig welded.

I have a COBB V1 AP and used its stage 2 map.
The car also has an APS 65mm CAI and 18" silver enkei EDR9 rims with hankook ventus tires.

Welcome to stage 2! I should really get a catless uppipe sometime soon, so I don't grenade my turbo on heavy boost.

Just be careful with an OTS map and that cold air intake.

I got that intake b/c it doesn't mess up the air going over the MAF. From the APS website
"65mm internal bore diameter near the Air Flow Sensor in order to maintain stock Air Flow Sensor operation and to work in harmony with the stock engine management."

It seems to run without any issues. I have had it on the car for more than 3 years now with a stage 1 flash with no problems. If I notice anything strange, I will get a protune.
