I just did some simple stuff today. One thing I did was wire in the HID fogs. I screwed up, but in a kind cool way. I wasn't intending for them to do this - but it happened anyways. I guess I accidently tapped into the running lights for the power. I didn't notice it until it was dark and I hit the unlock on my clicker and my whole yard lit up pink lol
Thanks Allpro for hosting this and helping to solidify the atlanta subaru community. You guys are topnotch and a class act! I think I speak for all when I say thanks! Sent from my T-Mobile G2 using Tapatalk
Thanks Brandon for the parts. Finally got my right side mirror back on again (well... missing 2 of 4 screws). Sorry couldn't stay longer, but looking forward to the next get together.
it's not the bulbs I'd be worried about. It's the ballasts. But those are getting cheaper in price too...
We got done close to 9pm. It ran since Sam had to load cobb stage 2 map on it just for temp till they can unmarry the tune that sharif did on her 06' STi.
I got there at 2ish...had a honey do list I was trying to finish since yesterday. Wanted to have everyone help me install a rotated kit and new clutch today....LOL! J/P! That's too much work. I'll have Andy take care of all that.
We left around 8:30. They were trying to figure out why the AP wasn't letting her use the map from her previous STi. Fixed it and it ran well.
Like I knew who was who... cupcale, lol. I met as many people as I could. Didn't want to be the weird guy going around meeting with everyone. lol
I was just about to hit 400N from 285W and I noticed the silver bugeye on the side. Pulled over to see if he needed any help.
So you think the better option is to be the even weirder guy who doesn't go around and meet anyone... lol
Eh. That was pretty much me. Lol Photos coming up soon. Also, wagunz, how in the world do you know that's me?
Whoever gave me the I badge...wearing the Allpro shirt.....I have no idea who you were (wasn't Brandon, Wes, or Patrick)...but thank you very much Nah, you talked to me for a little while. Never bothered to introduce yourself but I knew who you were anyways. Its ok, I didn't tell you who I was either lol yes you did! why do you want my dp / up? lol
I'm still trying to decide what I'm going to do with the car. I might do a whole different dp/up/turbo, bigger injectors, re-work the heads, and shoot for 400awhp....or I might just do a 2.5 swap. I dunno yet. I will keep you in mind if I do wind up getting rid of it I might. What car was it? What did it look like.
That was me man, sorry I didn't introduce myself, my mind was in 15 different places and just happened to overhear the badge and knew I had the one I took off my car still. Was doing nothing but collect dust on top of my box so I figured you could get more use out of it.
Because his STRAIGHT pipe is LOUD! (Sorry John, they didn't turn out that great... Lol) (same to you cMags) Note: These aren't all of the pictures that I took. They're the only ones I think are worth posting, other than the set of shots I took of Sam's car as it progressed through the evening.
Its cool. You seemed like you were rushing to do something. It will have a good home on the back of my car replacing the old worn out ugly one thats currently on there. I'm going to play around with the old crappy one to see if I can figure out how to change its colors since its about garbage anyways....i can't hurt it much more then it already is haha
Yeah I played around with a stock Subaru grill badge to change background color but I'm not sure how it would work on the "i" badge. Let me know how it turns out.
No, you're praying to the car gods Comparison of new condition badge vs what I just took off the car : Old junk badge as it sits now. I've been working on getting all the pink / silver out of it. What a pain in the ass lol
Ah. Nevermind then. That's what some people did for their Mazda emblems to get rid of the polished silver. But they don't have to worry about ruining the clear plastic.
I'm using a steak knife to slowly...and i mean slowly scrape away the shit on the back side of it. there are parts of it that im able to see through now. If only I could find my fine grit sandpaper lol I'm surprised that I haven't either cut a finger open or broken the badge yet haha
Just because your mom uses it for the skid marks you leave does not mean that it will remove paint. Simple lacquer thinner on a paper towel will do the trick. Keep flipping the folds of the towel to pull the paint up. Damp towel by the way, not dripping wet.
Who in the Hell is that fat douche on the left? Apparently y'all have no standards and will just let anybody wander onto the lot. Still, was a good time, and it was good to meet so many of you.
I don't have thinner, and the blade is actually working out pretty good. Not leaving any scratches that I can see....I'm not putting a lot of pressure on it
Nice to see everyone again and meet new people. Thanks to AllPro for the great g2g and for the help! Got my idler pulley installed and now it doesn't sound like I have a supercharger. :bigthumb:
It was fun getting to meet some new people and wander around, though all that sun wasn't good for my hangover Anyway, here's the few shots I took from today: http://www.flickr.com/photos/lucidblinks/sets/72157626347795121/
It looks like I was looking straight at the camera in the pic of me...but I don't remember ever getting my picture taken lol. Nice pics
