Hey guys! Come hang out with the Forged Performance Motorsports Team this weekend at Road Atlanta, in Brasselton, GA just 1 hour north of downtown Atlanta! We will be at the track all day Saturday and Sunday for the High Performance Driver's Education event hosted by Chin Motorsports. Sharif will have full access to the track in all run groups so feel free to ask him for a ride! For those of you that haven't been to this track, it is one of the country's premier professional racing circuits and world-renowned for it's challenging elevation changes, corner variety and very high top speeds. The Forged GT-R sees nearly 170mph, GPS confirmed, on the back straight! We'll be out testing new parts on the Forged Performance Porsche GT3, and we will be running our Time Attack GT-R and our 2011 Subaru WRX STi. Customers, friends, and other enthusiasts attending the event are welcome to paddock near our hauler which we usually locate up front near the hospitality chalet. Porsche GT3 We've just finished replacing all the sloppy rubber bushings in the vehicle with new, monoball or solid bushings. We're hoping to see some significant results from this additional solidity. ________________________________________________________________________________ Time Attack GT-R ______________________________________________________________________________ 2011 Subaru WRX STi ________________________________________________________________ Here is a nice video of our last track day at Road Atlanta. :squint: There is no red text in his post. I think you need your glasses checked. The only red in there is ----------------------------
Okay, if you guys are being serious, Zach must've edited it. He last edited it at 12:54 whereas I posted about the red text at 12:47.
That's a great question. Yes, you will need to be wearing long pants and closed end shoes (NO SANDALS!). If you DO have a helmet, please bring it. If you DO NOT have a helmet, we should have a solution for you.
2day seems like a deal for you local guys. but for me its a couple hundred more for diesel, hotel and food. im still looking for a track day to test my formula mazda out
Not sure if they will enforce it 100%, but Chin Motorsports requires a $20 fee (good for both days) to ride as a passenger.
I have never actually been on RA. Wouldnt mind experiencing it at break neck speeds in the GTR or Porsche.
That can be arranged....the first time it happens most everyone goes for the passenger set of brake pedals we've installed well before the brake zone. Edit: depending on ambient temps, we'll probably see 166mph or so.
