I really hate that ustream's ads are almost always in spanish. I even had one in french yesterday! :|
That's it. But regardless installing on top of the bead isn't gonna work....DOH! That's what happens when you are dead tired....I can only imagine how tired everyone at OLOA is.
Catesby didn't put them on.... anyway we won the first session in New Orleans...official times in a min ~Cicio
Way to go Team Topspeed. I sit here and wonder what car will be competing next year? Hmmmm Ferrari? LOL
I was wondering that same thing last night. What they NEED to do is return to their roots and bring a STI and take top honors with a sub 40K car. Now thats making a statement!
I have some thoughts on next year already We probably will take a Subaru actually next year...it won't be our only entry, but we are going to most likely take a stab at it again with some Subby lovin ~Cicio
Next Year.....Chop Top Racecar GC Chassis, No heat or AC, Lexan Windows....2400lbs 600whp. Thats what I want to take anyway....just sayin
I'm glad to hear that TiC is able to come back and compete in the rest of the event! They even picked up 40 hp with the new heads
Quoted from Doug: We have made GRAND-AMs web page.. Grand-Am DOT COM Car is running perfectly and were headed to Barber for out next event. Leh is currently driving now... for those that don't know we are holding another competition. Details can be found on our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/TopSpeedMotorsports We will be giving away another limited edition OLOA KillFire sticker, and announcing the winner on our live web cam. Thanks again for everyones involvement its been awesome, the amount of viewers and web hits massive. Doug In case you guys wanted to watch the direct video of the driver interview, here it is
yeah kinda funny since we have full interior, nav, AC, Subs and all Purpose built RACE car??? LOL 800hp??? nope LOL But whatever makes him sleep better
thanks Nathan, please post up lap totals for Barber ASAP...having issues getting to OLOA and the FEED from work today as they are broadcasting a F35 demo
We just finished the first session...combined times won't be tell after the afternoon session... Car is running strong...still on the LOW LOW map @ 18psi
shit if the track gets better in the afternoon he's on pace for a low 8:XX.xxx combined time. Guess no flying Kill sticker for me.
It prolly will. Doug was wearing a thin jacket and here in Myrtle Beach it's pretty cool so I imagine it's cool there so as it warms up some it will grip better.
IIRC, they set a OLOA record w/ a 10.6 @ 12x. Said he lifted at the end, wants to take it back to the strip post-oloa to see what it has. He was predicting low 10s on street tires. Said they busted intentially on the second pass on the bracket race so they could hit the road early to get to New Orleans.
^^^^The first pass of the bracket event, I think they said was on wastegate boost which is 14lbs and it went 10.8 at 131mph. Not bad for WG
Not bad AT ALL. Freaking retarded to be honest. That car has a 10.1-9.9 in it.....depends on how hard Leh wants to stress the trans.
slow down leh give the boys a chance...okay I admit if you slow down 8 sec in the afternoon session I have a flying kill. hahahaha I wonder how the tires are doing right about now.
On the OneLap page it has them at 4:44.8... TIC was 2nd with a 4:55.x. First session results... http://onelapofamerica.com/event/ResultsEventOverall.do?trackEventId=14&eventId=30
Got to see Leh and the car perform at Barber today and all I can say is DAMN! The boys did a good job building this full stock interior STREET car that's spanking full fledged race cars.
Billys a good driver and seems to be a good guy, who knows if he has even asked whats in the car. If you were giving it your all and getting spanked by over 5 seconds a lap you would want a reason as well. That being said the Mustang is doing pretty well, Billy and Jack are both turning pretty good times.
They are domestic guys, anything with a huge wing on it is full blown racecar, and they added up hp points from all the stickers to get their 800 hp guesstimate.
Thats what they say, I take everything people tell me on OLOA with a grain of salt. Most of the time when you ask someone about their setup you get about half of the truth.
Where were you??? I was out there all day...would have loved to meet you. What you talking about willis...everyone tells the truth always in motorsports
