Mountain run?

I don't see an "official" mountain run thread, I thought it would be under get-togethers.
Anyone going on a mountain run anytime soon?

sometimes it's best to go it alone and just learn the roads at your own pace.

 

I go up into the mountains all the time. I would suggest going up with someone who knows their way around up there.

I'll let you know next time I go up

Which mountain run are you wanting to do? Blood mountain, dragons tail? I go up into the mountains quite a bit, next time I go I'll let you know.

 

Ive been to tail of the dragon, i want to go to a bit less populated/ cop patrolled area

Got kicked out of my house yesterday because my wife was throwing a baby shower.

Did Blood Mountain, Wolf Pen Gap and Woody's...great times.

 

I'm sure you were so upset in having to leave the house too.

 

It was terrible. I would have much rather sat around with a bunch of women talking about babies than mountain bike in the morning and drive the gaps in the afternoon. It's a tough life but someone's got to live it.

I'm up for a drive. Early AM on the weekends is best. Get into the curves and back home before the cyclists show up!

Jchon3 and others. I would love to go on a run through the Mtns. I went to school at North GA for abit and became real familiar with some back roads. I can't go next Friday because of work. I can go up Sundays or sheduled weekdays. And I won't be drivin a subie so...we could blend better...just a couple of cars driving

Anyone up for an early run tomorrow morning?

I'm thinking of starting at 7am (walmart), make a few runs before heading back to Atlanta by noon.
