Here it is guys, what you have been waiting for. Info for the summer install day! June 26th, 2011 @ 10AM "ITUNE" Its actually "Browns Automotive" but I haven't had a chance to change the sign yet...so its the sign from the old shop that use to be here 863 Waleska Road Canton, Georgia 30114 (678) 481-1501 We are right next to the Petro gas station in the brown building. Lifts : I have two lifts available for work to be done. We are asking a $20 per hour donation for lift use. You're more then free to work on your car on the lift, however someone will be around to "supervise" lift use. You will also be required to sign a waiver. If you need a lift, please contact me ahead of time to set up a reservation. Please keep in mind that others may be waiting on lift time, so if you can have another guy or two help you out with your install to speed it up. I'll be available for anyone in the shop or on a lift that needs a hand with their install. Air Tools / Equipment : I have some air tools available, an engine lift, bearing press, brake lathe, etc. This stuff is open to use if someone needs it, but please talk to me before hand. I don't mind sharing my air tools, however I don't have enough of them to go around to a shop full of cars. This part kind of goes together with the next thing. Inside w/out A Lift : I have several spots inside the shop that are available for work that do not have a lift. This will be ideal for someone who needs the use of air tools and uses jackstands or whatever. We are asking $5 per hour donation for using these spots. If you need one of these spots, please contact me ahead of time to set up a reservation. Outside Work : I have more then enough parking on the outside of the shop for everyone. There is a gated area that can be used for installs, and the parking near the street can be used for people who are not working on their cars. I'll just put it this way, I have enough parking that finding a spot to work should not be a problem. Alcohol : I would rather people not bring alcohol for safety / insurance reasons. If you bring it in an unmarked container though, thats on you lol Major Work : I don't care what kind of work you do, however please try and have it wrapped up by a reasonable time. If you're using a lift, try to have another guy or two with you to help get your car in and out quick to allow others to have lift time as well. No engine pulls and no transmission pulls please. Alex never called me at the shop, I talked to Nathan if you guys want to do it here I can make it happen. I can even provide some techs to help, We will probably work the lift situation the same way it was done at All Pro last time.
lol thats not that bad. Allpro is 1.5 hours away from me. I basically had a road trip for the last install day haha
When New92 (Ben) had that small get together for a small mountain run, it took me about 40 minutes to get to the QT at Canton, only because it was so fucking early. Lol.
and the 2nd wasnt one of the choices.. lol.. however since I might have plans too on the 26th at the flight school here I vote for the 3rd

I think having the install day at Canton will be incredibly inconvenient for nearly everyone, though it is an incredibly nice offer to open your shop for the install meet. When we had the install day at Allpro, it was mildly inconvenient, if at all, for most of the people that came. It would be the same situation as if it was at Top Speed.
