I gave him enough grief on the phone, text and in person about that trunk, I hope he just has another paint matched so he can go with or without.

You find your replacement trim yet?

    Keep the wing. Super unique.
    And it flows pretty well.

Maybe a poll thread is necessary? Lol.

Isn't that an authentic wing? If so dude that thing is worth quite a bit and very few have it. If it's authentic I wouldn't get rid of it.

Nah its a CF rep. I think i want to do a lip or something and make some sort of removable weather proof plug for the wing holes. I dont know i want some STI skirts back on the car and some 05+ rear flares.

Ahem, hi im WRboxer, the Subaru you are viewing is my STI, not amnesiacs car. ;) I respect Randall's taste and he had a good theme going for a car that he enjoyed, i just need to make a few minor adjustments to suite me.

If anything what you mentioned is more reason to get rid of it to someone like me, to make a car your own you gotta make changes that reflect yourself and your personality. The wing will stay for tracks days or for Caffeine and Octanes or whatever, but for dd long term use...prob will not be staying around.

Well said. Why not just rock a molded limited spoiler then?

Exactly what i was thinking, possible to run a lip spoiler on this trunk and make some weather proof plugs for the holes, throw on the spoiler for events? Would a small lip plus the wing look like shit though?

I have a wrx wing but obviously doesnt fit the s203 bolt holes, i dont want to run another trunk just for a wing option...atleast would prefer not to.

Well as most of you know 04's did not come with a sound system, the previous one installed in mine when it was first bought 7years ago was starting to kick the bucket, so it was time for an upgrade.

Installed a kenwood bt48u headunit with a USB port in the glove box, aux cable in the ash tray slot, and its also blue tooth so I can talk hands free over the headunit as well as stream music that is either stored or whatever is playing on pandora etc. The real kicker is it doesn't have big bright highschool style design, and Is a very clean solution for my relatively simple audio needs. [IMG]

The old Boston acoustic rc 620's were awesome, especially in there time...but buggy crossovers combined with a pierced speaker and a somewhat shotty install meant it was time to replace them. I installed IA performance speaker spacer wrapped in ensolight with some very nice yet simple infinity kappa 6.5" coaxials. [IMG]

The new setup was relatively affordable in my eyes and is leaps and bounds better then the outdated setup. Very happy.

Next on the list is clutch and sound deadening the cabin. Btw thanks to alex for the speaked spacers and for the advice bud. :)

Swapped the 04 wheel for an 05+ wheel. Much better.

Thanks again to allpro, they have really been great with everything.

Upcoming, STI side skirts, more fender rolling, fender braces, and hopefully some sound deadening with slade.

That steering wheel needs some 10th Street JDM love.

So havent been quite so busy lately with big ticket items. Spending my time on cheaper items that make a big difference.

Installed Unabombers TIC sexy rear kit with comfort outrigger and dif mustache bushings instead of race.
Lock down bolts greased up ready to bolt in.
    Mustache dif bushings out
    [IMG]
New ones in, even the comfort version is MUCH beefier
    [IMG]

I already have a fair amount of other suspension and bushing work done on this car, so it makes it easier to tell when i have eliminated another week link. Very impressed with the kit, driveline shift response is more brisk and sharp, in cornering the rear end feels more solid offering better feedback/communication. $100 very well spent.

Ok some continuous improvement on the car. Removed the rear seats chasing down a rattle or two, fixed those. Removed the Cusco rear strut bar in favor of the Litespeed chassis X Brace. Also changed the rear trunk badge to my preference and starting to add back some OEM exterior badging to the car, so far just the fog lite decals...next up door decals.

No doesn't look like brysons booth.

I have been seeing you driving on 92 all week when I get off of work. Very nice car, the mods are subtle enough it doesn't stand out too much.

    Some more OEM decal'ing.

I went back to STI skirts, would have stayed with WRX skirts if i went wingless, but i think the STI skirts work better with the wing and lip.

Just one photo for today, changed out to my DD 5zigen wheels to get the SSR's cleaned up nicely.

I think i like the darker complexion of the car, you can also make out the sti skirts nicely. I like the look, opinions?

    pEd This ain't no Piccadilly!

I like the darker color of the 5zigens, but I like the look of the SSR's much more. The 5zigens just look like a smaller wheel.

Question, could you have used both that litespeed brace and the Cusco tower brace?
Or is a one or another type of thing?

    Car looks damn awesome.

Yeah you can use both, but it would be silly to keep the strut bar at that point for several reasons.

I agree with the wheel size, comment as well. They are only 7.5", would like to get a 17x8.5" in a more aggressive offset in a similar color. I think gold would look BOMB on the car.
