So the other day my amp went into protection mode (red light). I pulled it out and noticed that one of the 4 fuses on the outside of the amp had some corrosion. Looks like there was some moisture. I pulled the fuse and cleaned the terminal and hooked the amp back up. The amp turned on fine got power and the green light came on. Well here is where my problem is now my amp seemingly is coming on fine but Im getting no power to my subs. Possibly blown channel? Im not sure. Ive done all the usual checks, fuses, voltage, checked ground. Havent pulled the HU out to check the rcas back there. Any suggestions?

Have you taken a multimeter to it yet?

How many channels is the sub? Have you tried connecting a different channel to the sub to see if anything happens. If Bridged to the sub currently, unbridge and run just one channel to the sub and see what happens. Also check RCAs as Alex mentioned.

No I havent taken a MM to it. I dont have one. Its a 2 channel and I had it bridged but Ive tried all combinations, single speaker not bridged, etc... I am going to check the rcas as soon as I get home today.

Might have fried the sub or the amp. I doubt it is the RCA's if it was just working wihtout any other issues. Take a multi meter to check the resistance on the sub.

Well looks like one tiny transistor is cracked. I hooked the amp to a friends car and nothing. Put a different amp in my car and everything works soooo I'm guessing my amp is toast.

You may be able to have it repaired.
