The headrests and dash trim are missing from these photos. We were hoping to have a proper shoot done before the vehicle left our shop but the timeline simply did not work out. The owner is having a proper shoot done in a few weeks and I will be sure to update this post as well as our blog entry with the new photographs.

July 26, 2011 - JPM Coachworks completes design and fabrication work for the interior of a 2011 Ford SVT Raptor for the 2011 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, NV USA.

2011 marks the second generation for the Ford SVT Raptor model. This model year features a larger motor (5.4L V8 -> 6.2L V8) as well as other updates. The owner of this vehicle intends to display the vehicle at this year’s upcoming SEMA show in the booth of Addictive Desert Design. His goal for this vehicle is expansive, to say the least. At the end of its 3900 mile tour throughout the United States, this one-of-a-kind Raptor will visit more than 6 states and will feature extensive upgrades to nearly all aspects of the vehicle from companies such as Addictive Desert Designs, Chase Cam, Hennessey Performance Engineering, High Desert Mobile Electronics, JPM Coachworks, King Shocks and Spintech Performance Mufflers.

The objective for this project was to create an interior with an exceptionally strong aesthetic. We chose to blend the lush texture of genuine Alcantara® with the incredibly beautiful finish of full-grain aniline-dyed cowhides, resulting in a unique, fascinating appeal. The combination seamlessly blends the cockpit design of a true sports car, the spaciousness utility of an American truck and the luxuriousness of a premium touring vehicle. The color palette for the interior features deep black tones contrasted by a beautiful red, heavyweight thread set against the satin nickel finish of our hand-assembled eyelets. Finally, attention was paid to the panel trim pieces as the standard paint was removed and replaced with a brushed aluminum metal finish via a specialized production process, developed by a third party (not shown in these photographs).

We drew inspiration for the front and rear seats from vintage advertisements and photographs of automotive legends of years past, the Ford GT40 and the Ferrari Daytona. The idea was to create a retro-inspired seat design utilizing metal eyelets and two of the world’s finest materials for automotive trimming – genuine Alcantara and genuine leather by Edelman. In fact, nearly 14 yards of Alcantara and over 110 square feet of leather were used throughout this project. Furthermore, we chose to use a heavy-weight UV treated thread for enhanced aesthetics as well as long-lasting durability. Each eyelet featured in the seats is comprised of three elements. The outermost element was media-blasted to achieve the desired satin nickel finish, while the center portion contains a fine black mesh. A small square of genuine Alcantara was nested underneath this mesh to complete the design. Each completed eyelet was then installed by hand, one at a time, into the seat covers.

Additionally, the driver now has the ability to control the four ChaseCam HD cameras located throughout the vehicle. This was achieved by integrating ChaseCam’s DIVA unit into the center console armrest, allowing the customer to record and playback footage in close, convenient proximity to his hand.

We’re quite excited to see and hear what High Desert Mobile Electronics has in store for this project. If you’re interested in learning more about this project or to follow along, please visit the Luxury Performance Raptor FaceBook Page.

    Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_10 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8E600 Safari/6533.18.5)

It's their Diva unit. Allows you to control, record and playback footage from up to 4 cameras. Writes data to SD. If memory serves the gentleman will have forward, rear and in-cockpit footage of his frame-bending off road fun in Mexico.

What I posted is all that I have unfortunately. The raptor is currently in NM at High Desert Mobile Electronics having a full audio overhaul done (read more on FB). We're supposed to have a shoot done on location out there for media coverage. I'm crossing my fingers that a good photographer is chosen that is capable of correctly capturing the interior of a vehicle.

Sounds good man! Can't wait to see the finished product because what you have now looks sick.

I thought you just take camera, turn it on, point, and shoot?:naughty::wiggle:
