I've seen like 6 or so Subarus going in and out of here so I know there has to be atleast one member on the boards.

Just move up into to tree tops it seems pretty decent here so far.

Are you and the wife both living there?

What happened to that nice house in Powder Springs?

Yeah we are both here. We rented the house to a friend of a friend. Beth needed to be closer to work, the hour plus drive was really starting to suck and I wanted to be closer to down town. We kind of get the best of both with this place.

Quite frankly I over home ownership as well, I now consider it to be more of a liability for me personally at this point.

This is the first apartment I've ever lived in and I think I actually prefer it to owning a home.

I'm sure we will eventually buy another house but it most likely won't be until the construction business comes back around. I still personally own quite a few empty lots so at some point we will probably build on one of those.

They were nice when I lived there (for 10 years) and I understand they've completely revamped them again. The new entertainment building/center/whatever looks really nice.

I thought about moving back in there, but I checked out the rent a few months ago and it was $400+ more per month than I was paying before...I'll pass.

For what its worth they told us 980 for a single bedroom. They came down to 750 after I told them I wasn't willing to pay more than 800.

They remodeled all of them but lets be honest with ourselves there is only so much you can do to remodel a 800 sqft apartment. They put tile in the kitchen and bath and new counter tops....and cheap stainless appliances. They did put a movie theater in the clubhouse though lol
