I would like to know this as well....all i know is that a few ppl on nasioc and other sites sell vinyl for diy
http://wrxatlanta.com/forums/member.php?u=3086 He vinyled his whole GR STi in matte black. Later traded it in for his 135 he currently drives. He hasn't really been posting much lately, nor have I seen him at any of the recent meets, though I'm not there every week. PM him and he'll probably reply.
Best is to do it yourself; it's not that hard if you have a little patience and a heat gun/hair dryer. http://wrxatlanta.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28973 What trim pieces and what do you want them wrapped in- regular vinyl or the 3M DiNoc CF stuff?
Well, its for a Mini Cooper S I just bought. Thing has chrome all over it. Headlight/taillight surrounds, grill trim, gas cap, door handles. Just want it covered in black. Not sure about the finish yet (Satin/matte/flat)
it's a nostalgia based car so it will naturally be covered in chrome. Guy down here painted his with that Black Chrome rattle can and the shit looks good. Older guy in the PTC/Fayetteville area, yellow Cooper S with black top.
I did... they actually offered me more money as it sat- with the vinyl and 19" wheels. Paint them..... you will find that the vinyl will peel up over time if asked to cover tight radius and small parts.... even with adhesion promoter. Shit works like a Deere http://blitzblack.com/ you can get it in a rattle can at a John Deere store.
