This took place last week, and was our first Run of it's type, and came out to be a success. Some dedication by attendees to show up at 6:00am on a Sunday morning for a event. In the end everyone came back safe and without a single ticket. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oijg6GruvMc
Hmmmm... Does the guy with the 360 convertible have any high school aged children? I won't mention any names, but I'm asking because the institution where I teach had an event today, and as I left I saw a red 360 Modena convertible with tan interior and Scuderia badges rolling off campus. Very cool, and hearing it made my afternoon. I imagine there aren't too many of those in the area. I wonder if I teach his kid? Regardless, looks like fun and it's great to see some people with cool cars using them for their intended purpose instead of keeping them imprisoned in a garage 24/7.
No, the owner doesn't have a teen age kid. His kid still have about 10 years before High school. I tend to do events beyond the parking lot and as you said, the vehicles are to put to their intended use. 140mph, that's not the fastest that car did and few other accompanying it. When you come up to about 2 miles of nothing but empty tarmac early morning, right foot tends to take over thinking lol. Thanks bro, I was happy with the turn out, next one seems like will be getting bit bigger and few more exotics.
I'll try to make sure I make it out to the next one... I thought I was gonna make it out, but decided not to due to money.
