First, we get there and tech informs us we need a single layer fire jacket because we have an AM turbo. They let it slide with a warning since they never caught us previously; however, it would not be the last we saw of tech.

    1st run down:
    60' - 1.71
    1/8 - 7.45 @ 98.9
    1/4 - 11.43 @ 126.15

This led us to tech for our only warning to slow down above 11.5 as we need at least a single hoop roll bar.

2nd run missed a gear and ran low 13's
    3rd run 11.9

4th run we got the boot!!!
    60' - 1.76
    1/8 - 7.39 @ 99.1
    1/4 - 11.23 @ 129.3

No doubt IF we can ever get a chance to "dial her in" she will run 10's easily. Guess we need a roll bar!

    Welded.

Safety is more important than a few extra dollars in our pockets.

As it stands now the whole car has only cost us a couple of hundred dollars. We can afford to spend a little.

Jesus! I will gladly trade you a six pack for a ride in that thing if you ever get the time.

It'll be interesting to see what she puts up when dialed in.

We didn't even run the q16 map. This was on the 93 + meth map.

Not sure exactly what the boost was on the first three runs but the last run we raised it to 27. We figured we'd go ahead and get kicked out. My guess is the first 3 passes were at 24-25 psi.

They started running cars at 6:30 and we were done by 7.

I say we shoot for a trailer before cage. I'm certain I will be too scared to push it on a road course the first few outings!
Definitely will get a full weld in cage sometime in the future.

I disagree, no aluminum dovetail fancy crap needed. I see them from 500-800 all day on CL.

Sweet going guys. I wanna make a proposition...if I ever can make it to a drag event will you freaking let me drive the thing? And make DANG sure SOMEONE has a freaking camera this go around. This car has low 10's on race fuel all day long.

negative. It will go there but 4 runs before getting kicked off is not enough time to even play with tire pressures or anything else. All we did was up the boost and IMO the launch control needed to come down just a hair. Redline wasn't run in any gear except 1st as it comes so quick. It never stops pulling so we really need to run about 7200 in 2-4th gears and will definitely break into the 10's

Well good luck. I've only ever needed 3 runs before it's pretty dialed in and ready for just the perfect conditions.

Hope to see that engine back into the 10's again.
