This is interesting stuff! I am so used to manuals at this point I sometimes struggle with driving and automatic smoothly - the damn thing downshifts when I just wanted a little bit more throttle, but then it won't downshift when I need it to unless the gas is floored. It drives me nuts. I have always wondered if having a manual would be some sort of (minor) theft deterrent from the average hoodlum.
id say about 60-65% of those things are true for me on the stick shift side, the rest are either on the auto side or not on there.
From your average hoodlum probably. But not for people that scout for cars like what happened earlier this year.
I drove nothing but manual my whole life, even got my DL with a manual. But man, my next car is def. going to be an automatic(family car). Atlanta traffic is not doing it for me lol.
