So I picked up a bottle of the "Go Green Get Yellow" from Eco Clean today. I already have a bottle of the "Two in the Pink" but I really didn't like how thick the application went on. It always seemed like I couldn't get rid of the streaks. After seeing some of you guys use the yellow bottle, I decided to get Eco Auto Clean another try. First, I am a paint Nazi. I am not kidding either. My car gets clay barred every 3 months and doesn't go 30 days without a wax. It is how I keep cars that I put a lot of miles on looking brand new (I once traded in a black '03 Z71 Tahoe with 193k miles that still looked brand new). It is my OCD showing through and I enjoy doing it at the same time. Overall, I was MUCH happier with the results with the yellow bottle this time around. The application and removal (rubbing it in with a dry micro fiber) was a lot easier and I didn't get any streaking. As you can see by the picture of the bottle, I used a ton of it...probably too much. I am a little paranoid about rubbing dirt into the paint so I over applied. I probably could have gotten away with only using 1/3 to 1/4 of the bottle and still would have been fine. I have several coats of Meguairs yellow on the car now...so dirt and debris came off pretty easily with as liberally I coated the car in the yellow. Here are the pictures that suck because I was lazy with the camera...but you'll get the idea. I don't see this replacing my current wash cycle in regards to clay barring and indepth waxing. BUT...what this will do is cut down on the amount of regular water washes I will have to do through the month. It will also be an incredible alternative during the colder months as I can get this done quickly in my garage without freezing my hands off. Great product. Works as advertised.
Robb I'm very excited about your thoughts on the Go Green/Get Yellow. Pictures look great. If you have any questions please contact me. Cheers!
