After a long 13 hour day at the shop for our 7th annual Open House and Dyno Day a small group of the Forged Performance Team met at the shop Sunday morning at 7am to attend Caffeine and Octane. For those that do not know this monthly early AM meet is held the first Sunday of every month at Northview High School in Johns Creek. This event draws a spectacular group of automotive enthusiasts including exotics, classic muscle cars, high end Japanese sports cars and more. For this month's event Sharif brought out the #003 Lexus LFA, the Forged Performance race prepared GT-R and Catseby Jones's street/track setup GT-R that he and Sharif will be competing with in the 2012 Lap One of America Event. It was definitely surreal experience to see these cars rolling down I-285 at 7:30 am on a Sunday morning. Nothing stops traffic like these machines. We arrived at Northview High School about 8:00am and reserved our spots. As I was getting out of the GT-R I was piloting I could see the swarms of people flocking toward us. From being around the LFA I am used to that though. While over half the people were gawking at the heavily modified GT-R's and Lexus's supercar I took the opportunity to capture some photos of other cars (and a baby goat?!?!) attending this months meet!
I KNOW!!!! I wanted him so bad. His name is Joe, and he tried to eat my shoelace. It was pretty funny. ROFL!~!!!
No pictures of any Subaru's? There weren't many there this time. As a matter of fact, I was kind of disappointed in the turn out this time over previous C&O's from a wide range of cars...
I saw one blue 2006 STI there but it was parked in a place that would have it very difficult for me to take picture of it. When are car is crowded tight in between 2 other cars I tend to not take a picture of it.
I know the 06 had black 5zigen wheels....I remember because I posted a shot of it from a C&O event a few months back.
If you saw one at several different C&O's, it was either oneiguy, rome, ped, or me. edit: although I've seen rob at two lately. Jeff has long since deserted us.
I was at this one but missed the last two because of Daniel being born. I'll be at the next one as it will be right down the street from my house. Hopefully the new location will help out with the turnout.
I haven't seen anything on either their facebook or official website that shows they are factually moving. Can you link please?
I had a great time as always, talkin to Rome, Robb, David, Ped and Dana... Also proud that all the clean Subarus there were cleaned using only the best ...See you all next month
i might be able to make January's C&O. booked solid until then, and after then however. definitely want to make it to one tho. and, i want a GOAT!
that gto was also the highlight for me. But damn, wtf. This was meet for ballers. Every single car there looked pricey.
I'll try to come out to the next one, I'm definitely long over due and life is calming down for a change.
