    hopefully they are working on a 2.5l and not just a beefier 2.0l FA for the STi

    IDK I'd like to see an fa20 with forged internals and slightly bigger turbo for the STI model.

    Nah the heck with a 2.5L. Do a forged 2.0L with a 8500-9000 rpm rev limit any day.

    i thought the next generation sti will be a 1.6L turbo??

    This is what I read a few months back as well, but the STi designation has been put on other cars in their line-up before. I get the feeling there will be several STi offerings in our future.

    The 1.6L is very important, it was rumored to also be a hatch.... sounds a lot like current WRC spec :sx:

    yea thats exactly what i heard, something about making 1500 at least to qualify for wrc WHICH THEY SAID THEY ARE GOING BACK INTO
